The Future of Us

I am about to finish the "Future of Us" by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler. This book has actually been one of the best that I have read in a long time. I really like how it is told from two different perspectives of the protagonists, a girl named Emma and a boy named Josh.

Throughout the book which takes place in the 90's the two protagonists have their own lives which they live but are friends. When they are hanging out they find a website which can tell their future. When they realize that by changing small things in the present it can effect the future everything changes and they know what to do if their future seems too shabby. In my opinion fate plays a big role in this book. In my opinion fate shouldn't be changed and the characters should not be using the "ripple affect" to change what will go in in the future. Fate or the future is what it is and changing it wouldn't be fair.

Overall, so far I am really liking this book and hope that in the end both of the characters can live their lives the way they should. Not by choosing their life styles.
